Fermentation Tank and Seed Tank Series

　　Fermentation equipment is a reacting facilities widely used for microorganism growth, in which various microorganism grow up, metabolise and form fermentation product. It is widely applied now in such industries as pharmaceutical making, monosodium glutamate, enzyme product, and food, etc Fermentation equipment includes two tank types: one is conical tank (for example alcohol fermentation), the other is normal tank (for example standard, self-inspiration style). Our Companydesigned is of standard tank that is the most popular type. When design varies specs equipment, the followings must be taken into consideration: strict designed construction to guarantee enough intensity and operative life; reducing inside parts; Good smooth surface, Excellent mixing performance of gas, liquid and solid to make heat transferred and gas interacted sufficiently; enough heat exchanging areas to guarantee fermentation processing under optimum temperature; make sure sealing performance to guarantee sterilization operation.
Our designed standard tanks adopt jacket component when nominal volume under 6M3, by which gas cooling or heating will be fulfilled by jacket, and it adopt vertical comb to cool fermenting gas when nominal volume above 6M3. We have improved the vertical comb contact to avoid opening holes on tank body, which have achieved satisfactory performance in actual application.
The designed baffle plate within tanks is for improving stirring efficiency. Whether or not there is baffle plate in tanks has direct effects onto the state of fermenting gas stirring, therefore, the baffle plate is very important to tanks. Related document data of changing of plate number and width shows that it is an ideal state for improving stirring efficiency when adopting 4 to 6 numbers plate with width of 1/12-1/10.
Stirrer is the main device of fermentation equipment, through which to reach sufficient heat transferring after mixing fresh substrate, air and mycelium. There are three base forms for stirrer at present, i.e., straight impeller, bend impeller, arrow impeller. Our Companyprovided impeller is bend impeller, which has shearing function to gas flowing at direction of axles and radial. Comparing with straight impeller under same conditions of diameter, rotation velocity, impeller width, bend impeller holds good effects with lower power consumption, which has been widely adopted throughout all China
For motors, we adopts Y type motor (horizontal) and YJL type motor (vertical) generally adopted when nominal volumes under 15M3.
Tank surface connect tube is very important for fermentation tank. According to many years’ experience, our design on connect tube direction is reasonable and workers can operate easily. The connecting tube size is calculated. If customers have detail demand, we can design special specs.
